We will be in Memphis, TN this week attending the 31st Annual NTPDA Conference & Trade Show. The National Tractor Parts Dealer Association (NTPDA) is an international association. These members serve the agricultural and industrial industries for the purpose of buying and selling repair parts and related equipment via direct communication among the membership.

Yesterday’s schedule included a tour of long time Tractor-Part.com member Flint Hydraulics, a company dedicated to the worldwide distribution of original and replacement hydraulic pumps, motors and hydraulic pump replacement parts for heavy mobile and industrial equipment.

The attendees were then taken to Elvis Presley’s Graceland, for a tour and “Early Arrival Party.” Amongst Elvis’s collection of classic automobiles, is a 4010 John Deere tractor. The 4010 was one of the top of the line tractors Deere made in the early 60s. Elvis acquired his in February of 1967 when he purchased the Circle G ranch in Walls, MS. The tractor was restored by a group of students from Northwest Mississippi Community College in the spring of 2009. The tractors new home is now in the “Elvis Presley Automobile Museum.”

I would like to think that even Elvis would have seen the value in using a website like Tractor-Part.com to find quality parts at a significant discount for his tractor.

Today, after presentations by SAV Transportation Group and NTPDA President Jeff Griggs, the NTPDA Marketplace and Trade Show will open up.
