St. Petersburg, Florida-based TB Roofing & Construction believes that the "the real point in life" is giving back, and the company is truly living by that mission. In a recent interview with Bay News 9 TV, the company's Lincoln Sziranko explained why generosity in the community is so important.
As Melissa Eichman, a reporter for the news station explains, Michelle Anthony and her three children were living in a house with a leaking roof and mold, and with makeshift buckets as the only solution.
Michelle's sister Carolyn Anthony explained that it simply was not safe for the children.
Now help is on the way for the Anthony family, as TB Roofing & Construction has partnered with non-profit Pathway 2 Success to make sure that the Anthony's have a new roof soon.
While TB Roofing is donating the services and supplies, Pathway has assumed the responsibility of making repairs inside the home.
In addition, another non-profit, Moving Forward with a Purpose, is assisting with the cleaning of the house, both inside and outside.
Explaining his company's efforts to Bay News 9 TV, Sziranko said: "For every 10 roofs that we sell retail or residentially, we're going to be giving one back. We all feel blessed to have what we have now and to give back as much as we can. I mean, that's the real point in life."
One Florida roofer and contractor is donating their expertise, helping local families get new roofs.
